About Us
Juliet’s Closet has been five years in the making. As a mum of four (two girls, two boys), I know how hard it is to find suitable clothing and gifts for girls in the 7-14 age range (Tweens).
My eldest daughter is twelve and I have been continually disappointed and frustrated with the inappropriate clothing placed in shops and targeted towards Tweens. Whilst some Tween girls may feel comfortable wearing clothing more suited to young adults, my experience with Tween girls has been one of innocence and they require clothing that protects this.
I must admit, I am a little bit ‘old-fashioned’. I like to encourage and empower young girls with skills and talents that help build their self-esteem. The ability to write a story, create a unique artwork, learn a new skill and just appreciate the time and effort required to create something of beauty are all qualities I foster in young girls. Everything available on the Juliet’s Closet website, has been chosen with this in mind.
